Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Blue Mountain Humane Society!

If you are a new volunteer, please start by filling out the Volunteer Registration below. The Volunteer Registration must be completed before you can volunteer. Dog walking, Cat Care & Cat Adoption require Orientations before volunteering for those positions.  Once we receive your information, you will be able to sign up for shifts or join specialized orientations. 

Dog Walking Minimum Age Requirements: 

People under 14 years old are not permitted to volunteer nor can they accompany anyone volunteering at BMHS. 

Volunteers 14 and up are permitted to volunteer, only with the direct supervision of a parent/guardian over 18 years of age, who have also completed the Volunteer Registration.

Volunteers must be of a minimum age of 16 years old to walk dogs independently with a signed parent permission slip.

Court ordered shifts are ONLY 830am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. You must sign up for shifts online.
